Absolutely worth the treacherous drive up. Several gates to open on the way. There are 3 spaces at the top. No facilities. A picnic bench and several benches along the walk. Probably wouldn't recommend it if you have kids under 6 who can't be trusted. It is disabled friendly for the first section of the walk.
The views are absolutely beautiful and you can see down the estuary to Barmouth. We didn't manage a round trip. We meandered for about 40 minutes to the waterfall and the derelict house before turning back. Will definitely return next year.
A fantastic walk with some excellent views up the valley and down the estuary. Parking is limited but free and if you don't mind a climb there are other places to park. Once you're up on the hill it's very easy going on pretty much flat ground and constant panoramic views.
Great views steep single track access with gates. Parking for three cars at the top. No facilities!! Beware this is a challenging drive up with no options to change you're mind, once your committed you're going.
Easy walk on flat ground. Drive up to carpark is very narrow and winding and road has many gates but well worth it when you get to the top. Breathtaking views
Beautiful walk. The drive up to the location is good single track fun through farm land, good if you have a willing passenger to open the 3 or 4 cattle gates which you need to drive through. I thought the sat nav had gone wrong but it hadn't.
The first section of the walk is gentle. There is a low metal safety railing which would benefit wheelchair users. The views are stunning. Good walk for families.
Picnic bench, seat with a view. Splendid. Disabled parking for 3 cars. Several gates to open on the way up.
Had disabled member in our party so we drove up through the three gates to the top car park which is informally reserved for the disabled as there is only room for 3 cars or so. From there, we went along the flat ridge for 500 yards or so before heading back. A marvellous opportunity for those less able to experience hillwalking views!
Fantastic walk for the disabled with stunning views. There's a few parking spaces right at the start with a request to leave for the disabled, the first 300m of the path is well designed to be accessible, is flat and even, is at least 1m wide, and has a railing to prevent any risk of accidents. Worked well for us!
