Staying locally for a few nights presented the opportunity to try this Chinese takeaway, I only ordered two dishes so have to base my review on that.
Salt & Pepper Chilli chicken & also Salt & pepper chilli beef. The chicken version was much nicer in my opinion, this dish is something I order regularly when having Chinese takeout - this one is not a favourite version but not terrible either. I didn’t feel particularly well that evening but unsure if it was related or not.
Staff were very friendly, the premises generally seemed clean and tidy although it could benefit from a refresh I think.
We get this on our way through to my in-law in Lechlade sometimes. Food has so far always been great. They got my order wrong last time, but its dish i would have gotten on a different occasion and enjoyed anyway. Not greasy all, beef and mushroom is particularly good. Take cash and ring ahead as they’re always busy.
Nice food but told to collect it in 25 minute but waited for 50 minutes. Food was very pleasant and unreasonably priced.
Staying in Fairford on holiday and we decided to try a takeaway from The New Peking House.
We ordered a set meal for two (B).
Could not fault the meal. The portions were generous and the quality was good. The spring rolls were a meal in their selves. This set meal would easily feed a family of four or three adults. Staff were polite and efficient. We ordered by phone and the meal was ready for collection on time. A very positive experience all round. A+.
Excellent Chinese food Hong Kong style . Very nice owner who takes your order on the phone . This is authentic so don’t mind the wait and order in advance . Good value for money . Highly recommended and extensive menu !
