Great little pub. Just had a quick half and 2 bags of crisps while I was waiting for my partner in church across the road. Dog friendly too. Took my Dachshund in and the land lady gave him treats. Lovely staff.
Fantastic welcome. Great feel and atmosphere. Very relaxed. I will certainly be back. Just totally laid back approach. Nice people and really do their all to settle new comers. Thank you so much and see you soon.
Lovely, traditional pub. Very welcoming and friendly landlady. We've been here twice and both times she's went above and beyond for our 2 kids. We'll definitely be back.
The New Inn is exactly how I remember pubs being when I first started boozing in the mid-70's.
Welcoming locals, jukebox to die for, lovely beer garden for lovers of "coffin nails" & "Harry Wraggs".

The pub is situated on Poulton Square at the end of Lord Street (past Gala Bingo) ???? ♥️
Just an update in August 2020, Jan has opted to work less hours than running a Public House requires and now brings her experience and local knowledge to bear in The Smugglers Den.
The owner of the New Inn, Sylvia, is now running her own Pub, and doing it well in a difficult time for everybody. Sylvia is a genuine "Sandgrown'un" ( Morecambe Queen Vic Hospital born) and is a Career Licensee bringing a wealth of experience to a charming little local.
Friendly atmosphere. Busy day as it was the 1940s Revival. Only one toilet working in the ladies, wouldn't have been an issue on a quieter day.
1 of Morecambe's Oldest Bars. A Good Old Local.
Friendly barmaid but Oh what a grotty old place. No cask ale. Definitely a locals pub.
