Ordered delivery whilst on holiday to Cornwall. Honestly wish I hadn’t bothered.
The food was awful. Special chow main was noodles slopped ontop of slices of meat,
The crispy shredded beef was awful it was all very cheap ingredients just sloppy. I definitely wouldn’t recommend. Thankfully this isn’t our local Chinese back home
Absolutely vile meal!! Hardly any sauce in the sweet and sour and crispy beef. The crispy beef was extremely slodgy and tasted so vinegary. Rice was dry and hard. The special chow mein is definitely the worst I’ve had! Slodgy noodles and mean that was so chewy we didn’t eat it
Was stuck for a chinese in St Ives where my son lives and saw The Great Wall was down from where we were staying so d3cided to give them a go. The service was excellant, the food was not only hot but lovely would definately recommend this chinese.
Recommended by a local. Firstly cash only. Secondly order the prawn toasts!!! So so good. Lovely takeaway.
We were happy with the sweet and sour chicken balls we had - Light batter. Thick prawn toasts which are a rare bit excellent find. Special Chow mein was good, possibly could do with a larger selection of meats in, I do enjoy beef, chicken, char sui pork included.
Absolutely the worst Chinese Iv ever had!!!! Disgusting ???? my chicken cashew nuts… where’s the sauce?! Hardly had any and what I had tasted like Aldi chicken gravy! My sons chips very very dried cold, tasted chemically! Like the fryers haven’t been cleaned out probably! My other half kung op pork hardly any sauce and the pork ( if that’s what it was)! Was very chewy! Just gross won’t be coming back! Lack of flavour seriously! No seasoning nothing! So bland!!! Defo not 5 stars! Like minus -5!
I travel all over the UK for work and eat out alot aswell, but came down here for a holiday and fancied a chinese. Wow this place is fantastic, it has to be one of the best chinese takeaways I've had. Food was fresh and really tasy we will be going here again before we leave. Thanks to the young man on the counter aswell, very polite and really quick sorting the order.
We had a take away it was nice. We would go again. Was worried by one bad comment on here but the family all enjoyed. There were still signs for you to wear a mask I didn't have one and didn't want to disrespect but I couldn't walk back to get one as I was out of the area but was still served and another customer came in after me didn't have one as well and wasn't asked. As well the person who served wasn't wearing one property until passing the food over so I'm unsure. Overall food good.
We were served by an extremely pleasant young man the food was amazing great tasting and excellent value ????
