Lovely spot for a drink and something sweet. The coconut hot chocolate was delicious and the double choc cookies were a huge hit with kids and adults in our group. We had some bonus butterfly spotting opportunities too with lots of red admirals and a few peacock butterflies on a plant right near us.
We always call in whenever we are passing with the various dogs we are walking around Derwentwater and are always greeted with a friendly smile and a chat. Superb coffee and a great selection of cakes for those with a sweet tooth. Highly recommend a call in if you are passing.

Lovely place to stop for a hot drink and a tasty treat. We stayed in the lodge next to it and found ourselves regularly popping out for a drink and a chat. If you’re passing by on a walk it is definitely worth a pit stop.
This is the best coffee experience you're gonna have! The coffee and the blueberry muffin were both top notch, and both vegan friendly! The place is so welcoming and inclusive, and the lady owner is so kind and friendly, it's truly a full coffee experience rather than just coffee. For us, she served the best cappuccino, showed us an alternative green path AND directed us to a truly breathtaking spot. What not to love!
Such a wonderful find on our walk around Derwentwater, could not believe my luck when we realised it was all vegan! Yummy hot chocolate, coffee, chocolate cookie and tiffin. Dawn was also super friendly. A great experience all round!
Dawn's usual spot for her pop up coffee shop overlooks Derwentwater, and it is simply heavenly to enjoy a fab Illy coffee and superb home made brownie whilst looking at the ever changing ripples of the lake and spotting all the different animals & birds... but that's not all. As a mobile unit, New Dawn can be found literally anywhere. Go find Gloria the coffeemobile right now! You won't regret it
Visited back in August last year, the coffee was delicious and the lady was very friendly, will definitely be returning this summer!
