This place has lost its zing, it was the best in newhey/milnrow and the last 3 times i have been the food is awful. Spare ribs, was just bone. The chicken bites, think they forgot the chicken. That's it now for me, will travel further for quality next time.
Had the worst Chinese ever delivered last night. Sweet & Sour chicken should be crispy but was soggy, same goes for lemon chicken which had a thick yellow lump of gel dumped on the top. Chips were barely warm and looked like they'd been cooked a long time ago. The "food" did not look like it had been freshly cooked and I will not be using this chippy ever again.
Service no fault with but this was the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. The fried rice was like pilau rice, nothing like fried rice. The salt and pepper ribs were bbq ribs in the worst ever onion & chilli mix. The satay tasted ok but was lumpy and not nice. And as for the prawn crackers, they were yellow ????
Don’t waste your money
Ordered special fried rice, noodles, curry sauce and 2 sausages.
The fried rice was clumpy. The noodles tasted very weird. An unusual aftertaste.
One of the sausages had a bone in it.
Suffice to say it went in the bin.
First visit. Will not be returning
Decent chinese takeaway, plenty of choice here at reasonable prices, have visited on a couple of times and everything from service to food were on point.
Absolutely brilliant Chinese. Food is always spot on, large portions, excellent value for money and the staff are always very friendly.
Ordered hot and sour soup, ribs in syrup, special fried rice and curry sauce. The ribs were burnt verging on inedible, the hot and sour soup was actually sweet and sour sauce soup which is extremely disappointing, the special fried rice was OK. Don't bother ordering from here, go to any other Chinese in Rochdale. Waste of money.
Never ever disappointed this is our go too Chinese we absolutely love the salt & pepper boxes and quality of food is 2nd to none
