The service is always spot on & very friendly, the premises are super clean and maintained.
Unfortunately my last take away was inedible, the chips if I took a guess were salvaged from lunch time for the evening service and the fish though it appeared freshly cooked wasn’t up to the standard I’ve had from Nemos on previous visits.
One happy dog though who enjoyed the fish when the batter was removed so not all lost.
Awful! Very ill after consuming this food. Ordered at 1 am however this shouldn't make a difference. The cod was behind awful. Dont buy!!! Also asked for refund and no reply.
Our local chip shop has closed down and I really wanted to have a decent fish & chips. I looked on google maps and saw a few in the area. One I have tried and wasn't too impressed, another offers a carvery on top which I don't think would be good (judgement call).
I saw Nemo's and the good reviews. It was only a 6 or 7 minute drive so I took the plunge.
They take card and I paid £12 for Fish, chips and curry sauce. Yes, these are the prices now across the industry.
I took them home in a bag and my was I in for a treat. The fish was golden and crispy. It tasted amazing and not very greasy at all.
The chips tasted of potato and not just fryer fat. They looked a bit whiter than normal but that didn't matter.
The curry sauce was as expected, proper chip shop style and I splattered it all over.
Portion wise, the fish was very big for a normal fish and there were so many chips, I couldn't eat them all.
Brilliant little gem and would return. I noticed there are GF options which is rare. When my mother in law is in town, we know where we are going!
Just received a cold call pretending to be from 3 and the number comes up as Nemos Fish Bar. I've left a five star review as I don't want the owner to get negative reviews.
If the owner is Indian and making money on the side scamming please stop. If you have a neighbour who is an Indian then I'm guessing he's tapped I to your phone line and your business about to get a whole lot of angry customers and some placing fake orders. Just a heads up and not a threat.
Not the greatest , Very Average - so after my recent visit , noticing the ridiculous price hike

The best fish and chips I've had for a long time. Not my local, but I'd go out my way to come here again. :-)
Great when it's open!
I've been twice now at a lunch time. Checking that it's open before I leave my house. Twice the website has said it's open and twice I've been disappointed. Please fix the timings on the website!
Great food otherwise!
I live around the corner from this place and have never tried ordering from nemos until recently. Had fish and chips and was thoroughly impressed. The fish was cooked fresh, the batter was light and crispy and not oily, with 1 generous serving of chips,enough to feed 2.
