Really nice, fresh and good quality Jalebi! I had visited earlier in the day and was told by staff to pop round again around 6pm and she delivered!

Ordered 50 + 2 boxes of sweets for a funeral giving 10 days notice. Asked for sweets to be delivered to local restaurant as they would be delivering food to us. On day of funeral, sweets were not delivered to restaurant and when restaurant came to collect were not packaged and ready even though we were promised they would be ready the day before. Additionally, 2 boxes of sweets were missed from the order and we were overcharged on the 50 boxes, which we paid on the basis of 255g per box, but overall weight of the 50 boxes was actually about 213g per box so in total almost 1-2kg under what was paid. We had to send family from Chatham to collect items straight after funeral due to this establishments incompetence.

Recently visited this little Indian sweet shop on a visit to Gravesend. What a dream their sweets were. Not only delicious but wrapped beautifully in a box. It was a treat for my mum but they were so tasty I consumed quite a few myself. Will definitely be returning again.

Shop front looks nice which enticed me in. Found there was limited car parking space . Was clean and well presented. However the lady behind the counter took her time with my order and spent a long time messing at round with the weight to get it exact. Service with a smile would have been good. She seemed like the owner.

The counter looked untidy and cluttered which Put me off as they also didn’t have what I wanted.
There’s better Matthai shops in Gravesend where it’s fresher and locally made. Tried this one out, out of curiosity but I’ll stick with my regular. They’re more friendly.
Wanted a egg free birthday cake thought I’d try this place but the lettering was really poor.
I am their regular customer but leaving review for first time as I really appreciate their support and efforts to make my personalised “Diwali Cake” within 3-4 days. It was first time I ordered any cake from them and was surprised to see that it was far better then the cake shops. The cake was purely INDIAN STYLE which is hard to find in this country. They always have good variety of sweets. They does snacks too and everything is on good price. The shop is very hygienic and clean.

Best Indian Flavored Mithai In Gravesend !!! Look no further than to visit Nawal for feeding your taste buds.
I purchased sweets after the first lockdown and it didn't taste fresh. Gave my feedback to the owner lady, she promised to deliver the best quality in the future and offered me replacement.
I collected my replacement box after couple of months and it was very yummy and fresh. Overall, the shop is very clean, tidy and the customer service is very good. The serving lady is always happy and smiling.
I believe in giving feedback rather than criticizing on the social media. Everyone makes mistakes, we do the same at our workplaces, give others chance, time and feedback to correct themselves.
HONEST UPDATE 18th Aug 2022
As a regular customer, I bought 1kg besan from them around 6.40pm near closing time. I was served by a very young girl (looks like a secondary school student) and a fair coloured medium built lady owner. While the box was on the scales, the lady tried three times to reduce the weight of besan as close to 1kg as possible and it was 1.06..Kg something (1.06 for sure) and she charged me £15.35 for 1Kg Besan marked on the receipt as mixed sweets. That is a real cheat.
