I had an excellent experience in the past with the attention and work done in this garage. However, I was very negatively surprised when today I asked to know a possible price for the job they had to do this time. The person answering the phone, said he could not give me any estimate and sent me in no uncertain terms to go to another garage and abruptly hanged up since they could not give me even a close price? I wonder what happen to this young man. Sorry for the owner, he was always very kind to me, a neighbour recommended this garage and I was alway happy with the service .I am an OAP and needed to have an idea of the cost.
Always honest and helpful. This is a busy garage, but Neil does his very best to help us out! We have had a few emergency fixes!
I have had Mot and repairs done in this garage for about 3 years and always without any issues, however when I wanted recently check the sensor in my tyre I was refused with an anwser that they can't do it as I previously went to the different tyre place. Unfortunately in in case of emergency I had to go where is the closest to where I live. It was very disappointing and unprofessional in my opinion. For obvious reasons I will not use this place again.

Neal is useless to deal with I had been told he is a good fitter but he told me Inperson he couldn't be bothered doing the work as he didn't have time for it , very poor business man and no point trying to deal with him.
Be aware. The first time they changed my front tires, I noticed after two days that they had installed the wrong, smaller size. The second time, when I had a problem with the clutch, they immediately suggested replacing the clutch and dual mass flywheel without even inspecting what was actually wrong. When I discovered a fluid leak and asked them to only replace the broken part (the clutch master cylinder) which cost £75, they refused to listen and insisted on changing the entire clutch or nothing at all. This could have cost me at least £1000. Instead, I decided to buy the part myself and fixed it on my own in just 2 hours. So, I advise you to be cautious and consider seeking another mechanic before choosing this one.
Car failed its MOT at a different garage that only does MOT's. This garage fitted our car in the same day and had it back on the road the next day, at a very low cost. Very friendly knowledgeable staff, we will definitely be using this garage again.
I have been a customer of Neil's for over ten years. On this occasion my husband had pre-arranged a time with Neil the same day, for me to take the car to garage to fix a slow punctured tyre. This is a busy popular garage with a seated reception often managed by Victoria. Neil conducted a full inspection and identified a tear in the tyre which he showed me. Neil arranged for the vehicle to be fixed later on the same day and offered me a lift, home but I chose to get some fresh air and walk. Neil rang me before close of business to collect the fixed vehicle. Great service provided Thank you ????. The garage is wheel chair accessible with a wheel chair accessible entrance and toilet in reception.
