Great little local shop . Wide selection of things. The pasties and sausage rolls they sell from the butchers next door are the best.
Bit of a tight squeeze, but an incredibly well-stocked village shop - wide range of veg available, and a lot more than you'd expect inside too!
This is an incredibly well stocked shop. Do give them a call if you are short of something while cooking or before you head off for a 'big shop' somewhere. In my last visit I was able to source fresh sage, my favourite seeded bread and pitta bread, the best organic cooking chocolate imaginable, and non-alcoholic wine! The staff are incredibly helpful and the fresh produce outside is always worth a look. (Flat peaches were exquisite.)
A brilliant local store stocked with a wife range of food and household essentials. Seasonal local veg, gluten free options, local bakers produce. A good selection of wine and spirits. Specialising in gins. Lovely helpful staff and long opening hours
I work at Mylor Yacht Club, arrived this morning @ 9.30am, flag due up to open at 10, but at 9.40am, realised we had no milk! Closed up the terrace doors, left Alexa playing music, locked the front doors. Milk mercy dash! I’ve worked at MYC since March, but we’ve never run out of milk. Bobbed the Mylor Stores postcode into my Sat nav, en route, 6 mins it said!
Found the store perfectly, & there was a parking space right outside. Grabbed a 2l carton of green top, paid by card in a jiffy, a perfectly lovely gentleman who served me quickly, but they do have an amazing range of products available. I had a quick squizz around, I’ll be back! There were a couple of guys in a van, clearly watching my dash! I did park up rather quickly and leave rapidly.
Bobbed back to MYC, I got my same parking space back (hallelujah!) bobbed the milk in the fridge, ran up the flag at 1 min to 10.
Coffee for guests at 10? Milk with that? ????
Mylor Stores - thx so much! You saved me. I’ll be back to shop more ????????
This is the shop you want to be at in Mylor Bridge.
The chap behind the counter, Josh, knows what is up. If you want a pasty he will point you in the right direction. If you just want a cheap beer in the local park he can help you. If you wanted to know the lay of the land, he'll breakdown topography like an absolute demon. What you want to know he knows. What you want, he sells it. If you've been to Cornwall and haven't frequented Josh at Mylor bridge, you've not done your Cornish holiday justice.
This shop is a proper hidden treasure if you ask me! The amount of spices and herbs sold here are amazing! And the quality of the products and produce sold are of a beautiful high quality too 5*
Can get most things you need from this store, has a butchers nearly next door and a newsagents also in the village, so all three compliment each other well. A lot of varied products in the store, aisles can be abit tight if it's busy, and it's not overly cheap but local shops tend to be. Has a bakery and fresh produce, free carpark opposite, easy to find.
