Alright Eastbournian foodie peeps ! Listen up : rock up at this beautifully set up (a bit of a hidden gem of a place) at the North Mews. Excellent coffee spot (lovely walk from town centre). Honest bread. Following ancient gut microbiom caring ways stocked up on wise Polish folk essentials: sauerkraut, salt brine pickled cucumbers & beetroot w. horseradish spread (excellent with your ham sarnie - only if you are "brave" enough). Don't you even start me on their traditional, moist poppyseed roulade ???? Yumzers...nom, nom.
Authentic artisan bakery where you can also buy a small selection of other Polish products. Smoked meat, sausages, jams, pickled veg, cheese etc. Lovely people. No dining in. It is a shop on an tiny industrial estate. Limited parking.
Oh I love this place. The bread is outstanding. The sour dough is incredible and the baker called Daniel will happily tell you all about the process which is 48 hours apparently. The challa is soft and wonderful tasting. Such fantastic varieties of bread. Hands down the best bread I have ever tasted. Made properly the way it should be made without any nasty ingredients. Such lovely people who run it. Go, you won’t be sorry!
Wonderful little bakery with a variety of different loafs, cakes, coffee, and sandwiches, all serves nice and hot!
The owners were more than friendly, and even their loafs have home made secret recipes!
They were willing to explain what every item on the menu was, and they're very passionate and skilled about their baking. I will be returning next week, hungry for more!
One of the two bakers in Eastbourne who make sublime sourdough bread. Hidden in a mews behind Commercial Road. Ones by a delightful Polish couple. A few tables and chairs to enjoy their fantastic coffee in the summer. Their rye bread is so dense the loaf is really heavy!

It's an absolutely fantastic artisan bread maker and bakery. All natural and speciality breads and other baked goods.
