Authentic Indian street food and tea ☕️ in Stockholm. Nice place, good price .
The nice part is that the restaurant is in a indian grocery shop , so you can eat and buy in one place .
We enjoyed a lot ❤️
It’s inside a grocery shop so was confused but the food is not confusing at all. As close to Mumbai (Pune) street food you get in Stockholm.
It’s always Vada Pav with chai time.
Indeed very warm homely place in cold dark Stockholm, unfortunately not that good food.
This place definitely has potential, but I suppose they are new and probably still in the process.
I really was into mood to eat lots of chat and so tried almost everything from their Saturday Menu: Khaman Dhokla, Katori Chat, Misal Pav, Vada Pav and Paav Bhaji.
Apart from misal paav, sad to say that most things were not that satisfying. The whole point of chaat is to have some kind of explosion of flavor from different chutneys and yogurt and spices.. but almost everything was dry, bland and completely lacked any kick. For eg, Katori chaat was just mostly dry without any tamarind/green chutney or yogurt. Vada Paav had some chutney but was still very bland. Bhaaji was very subdued and had no character.
Reading previous reviews I was very excited to eat at a chaat place in Sthlm, but unfortunately this aint it.
They seem to have potential, and I dearly hope they improve as it will be great for both them and the customers.
If you want to experience how it feels like to eat in a homely street food place in Mumbai (or Pune) then this is the place.
It feels, tastes & smells how the real Mumbai street food (made at home by Mom) feels like. I wouldn't compare it with swedish indian restaurants, this is a whole independent genre.
If you are from India you can relate. And if are not from India, you should give it a try, to see how it feels like to eat street food from Mumbai / Pune.
I tried SPDP and Vada Pav & Chai, and enjoyed them :) Will go again soon.
We had heard of their streetfood concept from friends and were certainly not disappointed with the variety on their menu. We had Dabeli, Samosa chaat, paapdi chaat, Sev Puri which are definitely recommended for their authentic taste...this is what we missed in Stockholm. I intend going back for the other streetfood varieties that are on their menu, especially Kachori chaat, Vada pav and pav bhaaji. Very friendly staff who are open to adjusting spice levels. Definitely a go-to place when you miss Mumbai streetfood.
Excellent Food. It felt like being in India all over again where people bond over food. Being from Maharashtra myself I was craving for the typical street style Vada Paav that I was used to eating for many years back home. A BIG THANKS TO MUMBAI TADKA for bringing back those memories while we are far away from home. The taste was spot on.
We tried the vadapav, paani puri, katori chat and gulab jamun and shrikhand for deserts. From what I heard, they will soon start offering misal paav as well among other things. A big thumbs up to the mumbai tadka team for bringing indian food at affordable prices here in Sweden. I will definitely visit them once again to try their misal.
Best and authentic. vadapavs and pav Bhaji are super yummy and reminds you back home
Very delicious ???? and authentic Misal Pav at Mumbai Tadka.
