What can I say, explained my delicate circumstances to Stephen over the phone. I must say I’m distressed, upset and in a vulnerable place right now as a victim of domestic assault. Explained that my child is being taken from me and I need legal advice. Was met with blunt response and told I couldn’t be helped without paying 170 an hour for a consultation. Is this really the price we’re charging vulnerable individuals in todays society. The phone call ended with Stephen hanging up after I explained I simply couldn’t afford that during a cost of living crisis. I would have at least expected a referral to someone who might be able to help me or just anything, even a goodbye?

If you want someone who never replies and when he does will intimate you on the phone saying he's the solicitor and accuse you of having a attitude followed by putting the phone down on you then this is your man. Doesn't understand sensitive situations regarding children and tries to gey everyone to apply for non molestation orders in order to gain legal aid to fund his lifestyle. Avoid at all costs like alot of these reviews say!!! Wants to cause a war instead of following the family law act. Unprofessional
I can not praise this man and his firm enough. After 2 very long year's and moving solicitors twice Stephen with the aid of his excellent barristers have helped save my children. My advice is to choose this solicitor, have patience and wait for the calls or email back. They do come when he has something new to add. He is clear and decisive and offers superb advice. Listen and take it. I am a single Dad and in my opinion, I have just won the lottery.

Doesn't reply back to emails and takes a while to call back. Also now everything concluded at court, I phoned to speak with Steven about something he's still not yet me from social, Steven was very rude and put the phone down on me and I've still not received a copy from him regarding socials statement. I wouldn't recommend Steven if you fighting to get your children. He gave me false hope of getting my children into My care. Doesn't advice you properly. Steven can be rude at times when talking to you on the phone and doesn't listen to you properly and will cut you off.
An embarrassment to the profession of law.
Stephen represented my ex partner in a family matter and turned an already difficult situation in to a hate campaign, his own lifestyle is a clear indication that he has zero understanding of how delicate a child is at these times and what is best for them. He has caused irreversible damage which will have a lifelong effect on my son. Having spoken to other clients he's represented who have left reviews, its easy to build a picture of what a dangerous manipulator this guy is. I hope the reviews before you help you make the correct decision, the family courts along side Cafcass can be a really helpful place without people like Stephen Mullarkey involved

Stephan Mullarkey has been absolutely brilliant! I contacted him in April 2019 for advise on domestic violence and child arrangements! There was no beating around the Bush he does what he says he's going to do and he gets things done very quick! He's very professional and understanding! This Man is a disgusting manipulative evil person! Please do not use his services under any circumstances. I have all his abusive calls to me recorded, he used me just to take a grab a legal aid, as clearly from his abuse towards me he has no care for his clients! This man is a dangerous towards abused women, a bully and cruel. If nothing else for anyone who has suffered his abuse, vile behaviour and bullying, I will make sure he never does it again through the legal system. All i wanted was an update all I got was abuse for asking. This man is a monster and anyone who has suffered him please get in contact? This man needs to be stopped before he sends someone over the edge, in his eyes it would be their fault. Disgusting poor excuse of a human being that prays on innocent vulnerable victims of abuse for his own personnel gain. Then tries to bully and manipulate them further. THIS MAN IS EVIL
