This is a really nice place to go for some coffee, tea, breakfast or lunch. They have a really nice selection of home baked cakes and scones. They do really nice sandwiches and jacket potatoes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have toilets and a sitting area inside and some tables and chairs outside if the weather is good. I think it's important to keep contributing to local businesses like this. I would totally recommend the place, it's like going back in time a little bit.
Really liked this cafe with its friendly service, nice food and even a resident knitting group set up on the upper floor.
We thought we'd walk up Rushden High Street towards the library and have a look at this tea / coffee and sandwich shop which we'd never been into.
Good welcome. Lots of seating. Nice cakes. We both had toasted tea cakes and shared a pot of tea. This came in a proper pot!!
All in all? Really nice! Worth stopping off at.
No idea what the food is like as the owner couldn't be bothered to update opening hours on Google maps. Was closed when supposed to be open according to Google Maps
Lovely food, lovely staff. Anyone looking for a nice place to have a cuppa and or a spot of lunch I would definitely recommend Mrs B's ☺️
My friend and I have tea and sandwiches most Thursday's from here. The ladies that serve are so lovely and friendly. The atmosphere is cosy and warm.
Staff are rude, we had to wait ages for our food and when the baguettes finally arrived they were stale and at £4 for a baguette. Totally unacceptable, would rather eat at McDonalds (which I hate).
Almost £6 for bacon roll & tea! For that price I expected something nice but it was on par with a Greggs bacon roll.
Had a hot chocolate which was delicious but the panini was dry and overcooked, not worth paying £8.50 for so will not be returning.
