Group of us put in a massive post-Christmas party order in. What can I say? Outstanding! The curry, ribs, salt and pepper munchie box, chicken baws, chow mein… all of it was unbelievable! I’m actually considering relocating to Carluke, just to be nearer this absolute gem. Yer man Rice is putting the town on the map.

No atmosphere at all because is a take away place with no service served inside with seats.
What is it with this place 3 times I've tried it and every time its poor ???? Quality of meat chicken like rubber char sui pork full of fat cheap cuts the portion sizes are poor for the price sauces over salted but the worst has to be the chips + curry sauce uncoocked chips and of the poorest quality farmfoods chips are better that says alot about the quality from this place how it has so many good reviews is crazy its has to be the worst chinese takeaway I've tried avoid it and go to SEN-LIN in the main street you won't be dissapointed !!!

I went into the restaurant for a takeaway and the service was great nice friendly staff very polite. And I didn't have to wait very long . The food was good . I will be ordering from here again
Ordered a chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong Style both with rice and prawn crackers use this place often however thought chicken tasted funny to find it was actually prawn and not chicken ( glad don’t have allergies to prawns when contacted was offered replacement dish but by this time lost appetite did can’t afford mistakes like this as family member does have serious allergies chicken and prawns don’t even sound the same
Sadly as a regular customer looks like I personally will not use Mr Rice again
This is one of the busiest Chinese takeaways that I have ever been in. You can watch the chefs all cooking away like crazy while you wait for your grub. The wee lassie at the front counter does a fantastic job dealing with customers at the counter and on the phone. Food is good and portions are massive. If you are looking for a great Chinese takeaway in Carluke then now you know where to go!
