Popped in as we were staying just up the road and fancied a chippy supper.
Well where to start. Walked in the door to be greeted by a cheerful and polite young guy behind the counter. Had a look at the menu and the prices are fair and reasonable.
We decided to sit in and eat and the welcome was as good if not better than the initial greeting. As for the important bit the food itself. The menu is fairly extensive and definitely showed the link between Corby and Scotland. I treated myself to haggis while my partner chose a more traditional chippy meal. The quality was absolutely fantastic, with everything being cooked perfectly and served to us at the table.
On balance I would say that this is one of the best fish and chip places I have eaten in in a very long time. The quality is top class and it is backed up by a really friendly staff with a chilled atmosphere.
To the staff and management of this place. Keep doing what you are doing!
Not long moved over from kettering. Walk past everyday when going to and from work...today thought I would pop in....young chap working greeted me as I walked into the day very polite and friendly...had chip roll and curry sauce (what I always ordered from old chippy) was brilliant chips were perfect. Definitely will be going again one night
A lovely little chippy where one was desperately needed. Kebab shops used to line this street so a good old fashioned chippy was exactly what the place needed.
The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly even when they were clearly packed with both customers and online orders.
The shop is amazingly clean for the amount of work they seem to do.
Prices are impressively low to the point I'd argue they should raise them but regardless This is a great chippy I'd highly recommend to anyone in Corby or the surrounding area
Total life saver tonight, fast and fresh food. Gotta be the best chippy in Corby tbh. No disrespect to the others but I've never had a place make such good tasting food so quickly!
After a 12hr shift being able to walk in and have a laugh with the staff was exactly what I needed before tucking into some good food.
Store was damn spotless too! Never expect small shops like this to be all that clean but there wasn't even crumbs on the floor! Genuinely amazed at the level of hygiene in store.
Ordered delivery from here and got it incredibly quickly. It might be because I'm very local but it seemed like the young lad had ran to my house to deliver it. Amazed by the dedication of the staff here.
Food was amazing!!! Chips were perfectly cooked and the chicken burger was fantastic too!
