Was second in line 2 more customers entered the shop after myself but I was given my chips last, and they were not the greatest I have eaten. Staff we pleasant
Never was good quality but you didn't mind because the price was ok. No longer good value. This cost me £9.90. when they handed it to me I thought I was handed an empty box. Pretty bad.
Ordered food, took 2 hours to deliver, on just eat it said 30-45mins. bossman said he'll deliver me a free kebab today, it's been 1.5hours just rang him and he said tomorrow, POOR SERVICE
Phoned to place an order told to use just eat, 1hr15 later phoned again to be told order won't be coming and get a refund or pay extra for del which already done via site ???????????? so they had my contact number yet couldn't advise me and made me wait for food that wasn't going to sent out until I phoned and asked ???? obviously the customer isn't priority and left hanging
The people were very friendly and the portion sizes are outstanding. Really impressed with quality too
I used to get takeaway food at Mr Chips after I had worked late into the evenings as a tutor at the local art college and was very satisfied with the quality of the food and staff. I'm afraid that yesterday's experience was very different as the the quality of the food was poor and member of staff, who I hadn't seen before, rude and almost insisting that I pay cash (?) when card payment was usual. It's a shame but things change and you inevitably move on.
Lovely food on time and a good price, definitely use them again
We did a big order for work and the Fish chips were absolutely tasty , the staff are very kind and when i told them the order is for a Nursing home they have even given me a discount
