We absolutely loved staying here, we loved Kenny, he was so helpful.
No toilets but just a short walk to the toilets.
By far the best beach we saw on our travels of NC500. We saw dolphins in the bay and over at spilt rock on the morning. Absolutely stunning and we would definitely return if were ever up that way again.
We did the NC500 and this was our favourite site. We found it by doing a google search when we were planning the trip. We had the pitch so our side door opened towards the beach (see photo). The site can only hold around 8 campers so it is quiet and relaxed and within a few steps you are on the beach. Kenny who owns the site was super helpful. We have recommended it to all our friends and we will be back :-)
An amazing location. We rang ahead to see if there was space and found 2 pitches reserved for us right on the edge of the most stunning beach! EHU available and a hose for water. Toilets a short walk away. Huge shout out to Kenny who went above and beyond to help us celebrate our anniversary. Kenny you are a LEGEND! Scottish hospitality at its best. We will be back!
Fantastic location next to this beach. We saw a seal in the morning enjoying the bay. Great value at £15. No toilets but 24 hour public toilet block about 500 yards away across the beach and sand dunes.
We loved the location. Much less crowded than the next door campsite too.
I turned up in my little makeshift camper van and was made to feel really welcome. Great little spot. Kenny the owner was really helpful . It's a basic small site sat right on the beach . There's a much busier site over the sand dunes .....I know which I'd prefer. There is running water and a rubbish bin and one or two hook-ups. If like me your set-up is pretty basic then there's a public loo just on the other side of the beach .
Wonderful to be so close to the beach and looking at Clachtol beach last thing at night and waking up looking at it was amazing. Site so close to the beach and far better views than the main camp site. Kenny was great and we let him know when we were arriving and he said let yourself in and he came down later to collect the money.
Recently stayed at Motorhome Pitches and wowie, it’s topped to one of my favourite ever places. The beach is absolutely beautiful and untouched and there’s great amenities to hand too. Kenny who owns the campsite is one of a kind! Extremely welcoming and to say the least, helpful. We had issues with our van, Kenny came to the rescue with his diagnostic computer and kindly offered to even put oil in the car! True gem and a very special place. Couldn’t recommend more, we will be back!!
Superpitch! 5m from a beautiful beach. Perfect for all types of campers. Do keep in mind there are no showers and toilet is a public one 100m away, but to be honest it's a great walk over the beach to get there. Magical place. Nice owner, Kenny, very friendly and helpful. Be smart and reserve a pitch upfront. It's worth it!
