Do not rate. Supposedly MOTd and serviced a car we bought. A week later discovered the car had 3 split tyres and were totally unroadworthy and illegal. This was my daughter's 1st car and I expected the garage to have done the work they claimed to. Very disappointed.
Quality garage. Booked online nice and easy. Got a courtesy call to confirm booking. While waiting all the staff there talk to you in a friendly manner, welcoming and engaging while passing. Dawn at the front desk is really helpful and communicates well with you about your car. They seem a genuine bunch, something that is lost in a lot of garages these days. Will definately be returning!
Rac Unable to diagnose issue at the roadside to be towed to a garage who wouldn't go further than testing the battery.
This RAC Garage doesn't prioritise breakdowns to get you going, and tried selling me a battery on a car they probably wouldn't have been able to fix anyway. I had to make all the phone calls.
Pointless the car being towed there.
Motec was able to book in two of my cars for an MOT both today and tomorrow at very short notice, since Halfords Autocentre (Newton Abbot) decided to cancel - this very morning - the MOTs I had booked in with them today and tomorrow due to "IT issues"!
Motec have a proper reception and the people who work here are professional and friendly. Gave me a call (and left a voicemail as I wasn't available) as soon as it was done. MOT passed - all good.
Very reasonable too - £45. This is cheaper than some other local garages that charge the maximum.
A very well-deserved 5*s for fitting me in at such short notice - I called two other nearby garages and the best they could do was next week. Highly recommended.
Motec have been servicing my car for a while now, I only wish I'd moved over sooner! I have absolute trust in the expertise and attention to detail in all the team at Motec. On my last service they actually saved me money as they were so honest about what was actually needed on the car. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Took my Renault Laguna to Motec having taken it elsewhere and being told that the repair was to technical for them. Motec were very efficient and took my car in for diagnostic tests and repaired the fault with no fuss, and at a very reasonable price. Highly competent and very helpful I will DEFINITELY be taking my car to them again . I would recommend them to anybody. Thanks very much Nathan and all at Motec.
Absolutely superb garage. Very professional, reasonable pricing and swift service. I've had 4 vehicles in at motec for a whole range of services and never been disappointed. Always happy to help however small the job. I will never go anywhere else but here now.
I’ve used Motec several times now. The service and quality of work is second to none and represents great value. They are great to deal with and the car always feels amazing to drive again afterwards. There is simply no reason to look anywhere else.
