Love this place, the chicken tagine and lentil soup are both delicious. Very reasonably priced and the staff / owners are really welcoming and friendly. I real little hidden gem.
The owner was very friendly :) We got the lentil soup which was very flavourful and filling. The chicken tajin was good and the mint tea was also great !! Thank you.
When I worked full time in Brixton, I frequented this fantastic cafe nearly 5 days a week. The quality of the food is exceptional, and the value likewise! - My favourite dishes are the lamb skewer wrap and the lentil soup.
The owners and staff are lovely people. Over the years I had my lunches there, I got to know some of their other regular customers, some elderly and, if not for the Moroccan Cafe, lonely. I came to realise that the establishment did more than provide the regulars with great lunches. The owners and staff would sit and talk with them, keeping up with their news, checking everything was ok with them, listening to and supporting them if it wasn't.
I have never come across a business with such genuine community support as this one - they make no fuss of it, so you wouldn't even know all this unless you went there as regularly as I did.
If you're in Brixton and hungry, this is absolutely the best place to eat - no competition on any level!
Everything 5 STARS, I love the food, I work near this restaurant and this is my everyday lunch. A healthy, full of flavours and delicious meals. You need to try everything from there!

The food is soooo good!!! The harira is top tier. Also tried the lamb couscous and as an Algerian I rate it 10/10. But my fave has to be the merguez baguette. Gorgeous. Can’t forget the mint tea. Wonderful place.
My go to place in brixton,food always delicious soups lentils and pea mix ???? the chicken lemon wrap also the chicken and lamb skewers wow so tasty succulent and tender,big up the two brothers who run the shop and staff very polite and friendly

We love this place! The guy who runs it is really nice and attentive - a bit of a legend one may say! The food is extremely good value and made fresh when you order. Would recommend 10/10.
