Stayed one night while travelling for work. Handily just off the A4103. Nice old farmhouse, 15th century apparently. Only £55 B&B, the room was quirky and olde worlde but fine for the price. The breakfast is on another level though. Great quality ingredients and lovely extra touches like home made marmalade and apple juice from the farm. A real treat
Stayed here for two, one night stays recently whilst in the area for work. The host Elizabeth is very friendly and welcoming, serving a lovely tea/coffee and cake on arrival. As it was the middle of lambing, it was great to wander around the farm yard. The building is old and certainly interesting, in a quiet rural spot. The room itself is clean and comfortable. My only negative is that with an old building comes creaky floorboards and some thin walls, so guests in others rooms could be heard! (especially loud TVs!).
We booked our stay away and it couldn't have been more perfect. ||Moor Court sits in an idyllic part of the country. ||From the very beginning Elizabeth made us all feel so welcome. Our dinner was superb. Breakfast perfect. Our nights sleep, restful. ||Off we went and played our golf and were sorely tempted to book ourselves back in again but we were expected home!||One definitely to revisit
We stayed 5 nights in this historic farm house during September. Excellent location to visit the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Malvern Hills, Brecon Beacons & the Black & White villages. Elisabeth, our host, was most friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was served in the Farm’s traditional dinning room and on arrival we were offered afternoon tea in the sitting room. We thoroughly recommend it for a restful break.
Just returned from three night stay. Everything exactly as described. Our twin room with on suite bathroom (shower WC and wash basin) was very clean and comfortable with TV, tea and coffee making facilities and views overlooking farmyard with goats and horse. Set in acres of beautiful countryside, garden and orchards between nearby Ledbury and Hereford. Although a working farm it was very quiet throughout the evening and early morning making for a very good nights sleep. Breakfast was excellent in the lovely dining room with everything on hand from continental style fruit and yoghurt, cake and waffles, wide choice of cereals and very good full English, fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms prepared to order so always fresh and hot.|A walk through the nearby apple and pear orchard gives views of Moor Court Farm house gardens and surrounding 360 degree country views. Lots to do and see including Ledbury, vineyards (after present restrictions) Eastnor Castle and Hop Pocket food market and craft centre.|Thank you to Elizabeth and (Pumpkin) Pete for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend Moor Court Farm.
Another very nice stay at Moor Court Farm. Great reception from Elizabeth. Great cup of tea and Brownies. Room as I remember and very clean and tidy. Parking no problem. Breakfast very good and bacon to die for. Ate at |Trumpet Inn. Very good but book in advance.
