An insult to food, I generally don't leave bad reviews but this was an insult to food, no other way to put it. Watery and bland, and the small amount of flavour tasted horrid. The driest onion bhaji i have ever tasted, I don't even know how it can be dry. The jalfrezi I ordered was a couple of funny tasting onions and a couple of pieces of chicken swimming in the worst excuse for curry sauce I've ever seen. Even the pilau rice tasted like licking an ashtray. I'm going to have flashbacks of this curry at night when I'm trying to sleep. I have PTCD after this.
Lovely service and the food was good. Particularly like the mushroom sag which was delicious. We were the only ones in the restaurant hence 2 stars.
Easily one of the best curry restaurants I've visited. Big portions too. No frills but who cares about that with such well cooked food.

Food was amazing, very nearly didn't go because the outside was so tatty. So glad we did. Fab food. Would recommend.
Amazing food, attentive staff and I absolutely loved the elephant canvas! Portions are big, don't over order like we did! One of the best Indian food places I have ever visited! - I even tried the lime pickle, which was far more palatable than any other I tasted!

I have been here twice earlier in the year. Yesterday took some friends so booked a table for the six of us.
So to break it down. A very nice welcome. Great staff. Prompt but unrushed service. Great food, starters and mains. Decent pricing. We eill be back.
