A very pretty but pebbled beach in the village of Moellfre, North Wales.

It’s a popular spot for families with a great pub, cafe and ice cream parlour close by. There’s also a small car park with a fee.

The beach itself is covered in pebbles so would recommend shoes if you’re thinking of swimming. It’s very tidal, so be aware of this if you leave anything in the beach.

My son and I spent a good few hours skimming stones during our stay. It was too cold to paddle!

There’s an outflow to the right of the beach with fast running water. Seems to be attractive to the kids but be aware of the slippery rocks.

The beach is also dog friendly and we saw lots of sea dogs having a great time.

Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Very small beach but quite lovely and has good boulders around to climb over, just be careful as they can be slippery. Really nice spot to come to and if you walk up the coast you’ll find the Rnli centre. Had a good time and the parking is quite cheap.

The main carpark is a little pricey at £1.30 an hour. We went sea glass hunting and found a few pieces, quite a small cove I would imagine it gets busy in the warmer months.

A welcome stopping point on the coastal path around Anglesey with pub (Robinsons brewery house), Ann’s pantry and an ice cream parlour all within a stone’s throw of each other. A small stoney beech with lovely views across to Llandudno’s Great Orme.
