My VW T5 was diagnosed as having fuel in engine. And my last T5 was write off due to a fire in electrical. So had a spare like for like engine Tom changed out engine for another in my drive. And back working. Can't thank and recommend Tom enough. 5 stars isn't enough. Still few bits to do but started first time.
Partners car broke down and we couldn't get it into a garage for a week. Called this guy and the car was fixed within 1.5 hours at the roadside. Great service will definitely use again.
Happy started work to get my car road safe, no receipts given but happy to get money off me. No proof of work done or completed, not even garage have any when Tom has taken it in there!!! Still waiting for my receipts for work/jobs done!!!!
In total paid £600 and no receipts for individual jobs done and was agreed I'd get them when each one was completed, and money paid.
Plus a company letter to say which needed to be done to be road safe!!!!
You can't say I haven't paid as I've already paid £600, and want the receipts for work/job's done to know what they cost Please.. Still waiting!!!!!!!!
we called tom on a thursday and he came out straight away and told us exactly what was wrong with the car so part was ordered and as soon as part came tom came and fitted the part late on the evening so the car was ready for the school run the following day.
cannot fault his work and his attitude was amazing was a tricky part to fit but he got it sorted.
would highly recommend i will be using tom for all my vehicle repairs now.
My second time now using Tom for work on my car. Had been quoted first time from a garage, £1600 for a new turbo. Tom charged £650! Second time was quoted £800-£900 for brake pads and a seized calliper. I contacted Tom again and he only needed to replace the brake pads, as he was able to free my calliper. He only charged £120!
He is a great guy, very genuine and if you want a second opinion. See Tom, he even comes to fix your car on your doorstep. Excellent work definitely using you again and recommending you to everyone
This all looked pretty good in the reviews, so I thought I would give him a ring.
made a time for him to come , ….no show. I rang him an hour after he was due and he apologised and said he would come out straight away , then he sent a text message saying he had van problems and could I make another time with him . No problem but again no show. So I rang him..no answer, i text him….no reply.
I can’t say if he is good at his job as I’ve never met him
Called tom yesterday as my clutch suddenly went he gave me a reasonable quote and came out the next day on bank holiday sunday! and fitted me a new clutch straight away so i could be at work for monday, highly recommended will be using him from now on for all my repairs, amazing service 10/10 service!
Contacted Tom on Sunday, arranged to come Tuesday to sort a brake caliper issue. In less than 2 hours, rear discs, pads and a caliper replaced. Great service with very competitive quotes and pricing of parts. Would definitely recommend and use his services again
