Took my converted camper here due to it being over 3.5 tonnes and was told my local garage it needed a commerical MOT, and explained on the phone to then the situation and they also said that it needed a commerical MOT, paid over the phone for the same day slot and get there and get told it can't be MOT'd. Keep calling to organise refund but cab only get through to the receptionist who is very polite but the accounts department are still yet to get back to me after many calls and emails.
Took my 3.5 ton van here for mot .. failed on hand brakes ... asked them to book me in as had 10 days for a retest.. they booked my in for the following week so I doped off the van easy morning and told them to replace pads as it was on the advisory .... was expecting 1-2 max ... keep calling ???? for a update to be told parts been ordered be stated next day.... After 4 days of calling I was told van was done ... went to collect and was told the bill was £850 .... I was shocked ???? as they didn't call me to confirm any work or parts what was needed and when I seen breakdown of work done ot was a full break system..
New brake lines .... pads .... discs ... caliper.. I refuse to pay due to them not confirming with me before doing any work .. to the Ower response was ok we take off all new parts put on the old parts and connect dvla to take off the mot as be no brakes system on van and I can collect in few days ..... After losing a weeks work already I could not afford more downtime and have to get new mot and pats... so to settle everything I said I will pay the parts and labour if they wave the vat to which they agreed to so instead of £850 still paid £630 ... definitely won't be going back there 1st and last Time for me....
Brilliant service, took our hgv motorhome for MOT and on way some clown hit my drivers side mirror so would have failed Nick and the lads replaced it within 15 minutes so all good for MOT thanks guys
absolute Scammm! Got quoted 500 for parts + labour to change a calliper two brake discs and pads (which I supplied) which was bloody expensive in comparison to others but we needed the work done urgently. Please tell me how this had now turned into a bill of £890.00 without any authorisation or pre approval now having to leave work travelling across country to get this resolved… LIVIDDD
Would not recommend at all!
Had all terrain tyres fitted to our 7 metre minibus by MN commercials to find out later they hadn’t tightened up the bolts resulting in them being dangerous to drive on and causing hundreds of pounds of damage.
Contacted the manager Mick who took no responsibility stating he got someone in to fit them!
Avoid like the plague! Would give zero stars
Quote for my partner was £460 but final price was approx £650. Had to pay, no choice. Supposed to be the place to go for the travellers community.
They good mechanic but if need grease your lorry.make sure they did it.

got quoted a price, which I've agreed to, I've asked whether it is possible to split the bill and pay in instalments, to which the owner replied with a "yes", this was the only reason why I chose MN commercials over other mechanics. After the job was done I got informed about the VAT which was an extra 70£ which I was not aware of, if I was I would get my car fixed somewhere else, on top of that, I got told that they are unable to split my bill and I have to pay it all at once in order to get my keys. I have basically been deceived just so they can make some money, just pathetic, there are much better and cheaper places to fix your car in Leicester.
