I had my car serviced by MKD, and it turned out to be a terrible mistake. After their servicing, my car faced continuous issues, including a timing chain replacement just 2 days after their service, costing nearly £2000. MKD kept the car for weeks, missed deadlines, and returned it with a non-starting issue. They later blamed a faulty battery, adding another £150 to the expenses. The final straw was an oil leakage caused by MKD's negligence, nearly damaging my engine. A new mechanic discovered missing screws from the timing chain work caused the oil leakage. I strongly advise avoiding MKD due to their carelessness, dishonesty, and poor service quality.
AVOID at all costs.
Mike and Luke are lovely mechanics and get the job done.
The owner takes your car to fix it and you might get it back within the year.
My car has been gone for 8 months yet again and very little communication yet again from the owner.
It is despicable that you have to seek legal advice to get back what rightfully belongs to me.
Brilliant experience with these guys, they helped me massively, gave me great advice and a great price, helped me with issues that they didn’t have to but did as they’re professional friendly experts
If I could put no stars then I would , most of these positive reviews are probably fake reviews or those that don't spot check, STAY WELL AWAY from this garage, took my car in for a service as a new customer, the only thing done was a oil top up, I took my car to a mechanic afterwards about the suspension and who also checked the air and cabin filters which was claimed to be changed and they were absolutely filthy , was the original cabin and air filters that obviously wasn't changed for new ones which can cause fuel economy issues and horrible Oder, had an email conversation and was told it not how they wish to conduct their business, yet I am a new customer who had no history with them, they lied saying they will process a refund which they still to this day have not, YOU ARE BEING RIPPED OFF, I tell you these people are not honest, I'm a new customer and that was how they treat me, STAY AWAY. Don't get a service from these people!!!!
Got my car serviced here a week ago. My car was collected on time and dropped off when the service was complete, making the process much easier. Pricing is also very competitive.
Brilliant company. Dropped my van off Saturday morning for the rear brakes to be done. Had a text when the job was done ready for me to collect. Will definitely be using them again. Friendly staff who were very knowledgeable and helpful.
Would highly recommend. They're a friendly, professional garage always happy to help even sometimes at short notice. They charge a fair price and do a great job. When I once had an issue they took full responsibility and collected the car to repair, it's the sort of honesty that has made me go back every time. Trust worthy local garage, was glad I found them.
I’ve been going to MK Diagnostics for nearly three years now and I honestly can’t recommend them enough. Their prices are much more reasonable than the bigger, well known garages - they’ll never try to rip you off (even if you obviously know nothing about cars, like me!) and will try to save you money where possible. Their customer service is fantastic too, they’re so friendly and they’ll even give you a lift home or to work after you drop your car off!
