Second time going here within the month, after my usual haunt disgraced the self recently.
First visit was simple, the large Donner, which is always a good tester for a new place, and it was flawless to be honest: fresh salad, excellent sauce and Donner meat was absolutely top notch, really tasty without being over spiced, all for a fiver. Last night I had the the large mixed kebab: Donner, lamb and chicken on a huge fresh naan bread, and plenty of salad, and again, was great quality, and great value for 9.50. Portions are generous too.
Cons? None really. The shop was busy with counter trade, with the usual background activity for organising deliveries, but even as busy as they were, the lads were handling it well, and the wait wasn't unreasonable at all. Thoroughly recommend these guys... ????
I placed an order at 22:50 on the 7/10/21 I called the shop at 23:30 to be told my order was already out for delivery. I then received a text at 23:43 saying my driver could not find my house could I call the shop. So I did and was told they had ran out of donner meat and couldn't do my order did I want something els.so I question the fact I was told my order was out for delivery and they called me a lier I explained I even have the text to show the driver apparently couldn't find me again I was called a lier. Customer service stinks there attitude is disgusting and this was my first time using these idiots. But also why did it take them almost 1 hour to tell me there was no donner meat I will never use them for food again .
Ordered online with Just Eat, got the wrong pizza, they tried to say it wasn't up to date, didn't offer a replacement or refund just totally dismissed me, rude and uncalled for, just wanted what I paid for even offered to pay any extra costs at the door, but apparently that was too much effort. Seriously DON'T order from this place if you expect to be treated like a human being.
Set meal for 2 - changed 1 meal so that was good. Korma to bhoona. Chicken bhoona - bright red n obviously a curry paste. Lamb bhoona better but far too hot n totally different sauces between the 2 currys!! Pakora burnt also and poppadoms went missing as well as a refrigerated delivery apparently?? Did phone but fobbed off as was via just eat. Wont use again ....... ever !!
Very poor, ordered a Munch Box which was predominantly filled with chips and veg pakora. Menu stated that it came with other ingredients like chicken chaat and chicken pakora, but you would need a search party to find them.
Usually great food, delivered on time and at a good price; sadly not tonight (02 January). I wouldn't be surprised if the food had been cooked on Hogmanay, leftover and re-heated. Better next time I hope.
Really really enjoyed my lamb curry from here, one of the best I've had, and my sister and mum really enjoyed their curries too! Would love to try more in future!
Ordered a chicken tikka kebab tonight with chips, absolutely spot on really enjoyed it best kebab ive had that I can remember, was waiting a little longer than usual and the boy gave me a free can which he didn't need to do was really kind, will definitely order again
