Went with friends for a Christmas lunch. A varied choice from the menu board. The food was delicious. I had sea bass, most had turkey. Plenty veg served separately. I had trifle for dessert which was really deep layers of cream with thinner layers of Sherry soaked sponge and fruit. Delicious!
A regular returning venue for myself and friends who meet every few months. The food is excellent and the staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. Al9ng with a pleasant countryside setting, highly recommended....
My first visit here and I was delighted with everything, the vegetarian meal was out of this world, truly delicious, best that I have ever had, the food all round was wonderful, lovely atmosphere and very friendly. Very reasonable prices too and the service was excellent, I can't wait to visit again soon. Thank you.

Great choice in starters, mains and desserts. Really delicious home made food appreciated by all of us. No rush. Relaxed and leisurely. Lovely location and ambience.
The Christmas lunch was very good and the bar and table service were great. Well worth a visit but make sure you make a reservation if you're dining it was very busy.
Lovely looking pub. Not dog or muddy boot friendly so had to sit on a bench round the back but nice local beer and helpful staff
We have been coming to the Miners for over 30 years, and it has always remained consistently perfect.
Definitely my favourite restaurant in the UK.
First time here. Very nice pub. Menu quite limited but food beautifully cooked. Reason only a 4 re food is down to limited menu - in my case was only 2 options on mains and 0 on desserts that I would eat.
