A fantastic little pub. Great food, beautiful log fire, beer garden and a lovely friendly atmosphere.
Fantastic gluten free menu and chips from a separate fryer.
4 beautiful bedrooms if you need an overnight stay.
Cannot recommend this place enough.
Visit could not have been worse. Paid and pre booked rooms for married couple, our daughter and grandson. Arrived at 7.30pm having travelled from London for a funeral. Initially ignored by the bartender, but subsequently shown to our rooms. Big mistake, one of our rooms let out to somebody else resulting in our daughter sleeping in the same bed as our grandson. Went down for a meal only to be told kitchen closed but ' You can go to Tesco and fetch food back to eat in our restaurant' ?. Enquired about breakfast in the morning told, ' We are not doing breakfast but go out of the door, turn right and you will find a bakers shop'. I've given the one star simply because the room and en suite were acceptable. On the whole a very bad experience totally unacceptable. Would advise 'stay clear'.
Friendly local real ale pub that when they get a new chef does a small but very good range of food all home made. Dog friendly and also a sheltered sunny beer garden. No food currently.
Open every day except Monday and Tuesday as seems normal around here.
Wonderful, food and service. Home cooked using local suppliers.
Lovely little local pub. Family and dog friendly. Drinks a good price. Have an outdoor area for when the weather is nice.
Excellent food, value, and helpful service. Great real ales and range of other drinks. Drops a star for difficulty in getting wheelchair across the gravel courtyard. There is accessible accommodation for people with disabilities in the next village, so improving access, perhaps a slab path across the courtyard, would help your business. Hope to return.
Absolutely fantastic, great food, managed to squeeze our order in (even though they had a huge booking and shouldn't really have taken our order), staff were really friendly and helpful, even did a plain burger on a separate plate for the dog, can't recommend them highly enough ????
The food was superb. We ate on the Friday night for a special birthday and then again on the Sunday where we had asked if they could do Us a roast dinner. They cooked a roast for 10 of us and it was one of the best I've tasted. Will definitely go back to Silecroft and definitely go back to the Miners Arms.
