Decent Portuguese food. Staff was very friendly too. Octopus salad and grilled chorizo in the starters were delish. Garlic lemon chicken was tasty too. Portions are huge.
PS: get the homemade chilli oil, it’s amazing and hot!
This is one of the best restaurants in London. Me and my friend used to live in Tooting and would go regularly. When we visit a friend who lives close we always use it as an opportunity to go back to Mina’s grill. The food is just soo tasty, the staff are amazing and it’s incredibly priced. It’s nice homemade authentic Portuguese food made with love and the staff actually know us which is lovely when we go back and they welcome us.
Good portions, definitely come here when you’re hungry as this is hearty food. Nice fries and freshly prepared salad.
The highlight was the grilled chicken, charred flavours came through and yet juicy. The special lemon sauce was delightful.
Picanha was cooked nicely and the meal was very filling with the addition of the rice, beans and fries.
Friendly service and offered some suggestions at the start. Worth a visit if you’re in the area. ????????
It used to be a great place, our Sunday spot, the food is nice. Let me explain the 3 star.
We went there , we sat at the table and were moved as it was too close to the kitchen then we were forgotten as 2 other group people came after and got served straight away.
My husband had to go to the till to give our order, the owner apologised and said ah what new staff and she is running the whole show.
Anyway , we understand but then we were left there for 1 hr with no drinks or starters , I had to go and ask and said I will check. Came back with the starter and said sorry but the main will be another 20 mins. At that point , I was like cancel the order and let me pay for I had. She couldn't care less.
You lost a customer as we have been coming there most Sundays. Such a shame.
If you want the typical Portuguese experience this is the place for you!
The food is freshly made on the time following the proper Portuguese flavours and a good selection of Portuguese wines and several other drinks. We were very well received by Daniel and we had the opportunity of meeting all the staff all of them wonderful. We definitely well be back and more often I suggest everyone to give it a try.
It's always a placer to come here. Food, service, atmosphere.. 100% recommended.
If you’re in Tooting and you’re hungry don’t waste your time going anywhere else!! Just the absolute best. Chilli garlic prawns and the chorizo are great but the grilled chicken n chips smothered in chilli sauce and lemon butter is what you go for!! Sensational
Gem of a place! The recent interior upgrade together with excellent mechanical venting of the kitchen is an improvement. The dining area is much more roomy and there is a bar! Fuss-free food - we always come here for the grilled chicken with salad (awesome dressing). Portuguese coffee and a nata is a must, to finish off your meal
