Food and drinks (especially vanilla frappuccino and vegetarian breakfast) and service was 10/10. Nik was a really polite and helpful server!
The music can be a teeny bit too loud and the place is a but dark if you're away from the window. In any case, it's a lovely place to sit and have coffee and food.
First time I was able to eat a whole American breakfast. Everything was tasty, delicious, and very well seasoned and cooked.

yourself not knowing what to choose from …
Staff is friendly and experienced, they give you time to choose and won’t be rushing you out to take your order ( probably because the menu is just giant ), and they check on you throughout your meal.
Environment is quiet, fun, with very good music taste and variations. So even if you don’t like the first song, I’m once again sure that you will get just fine with the next track.
The place itself is very pleasant, with candles on the tables, flowers all around the ceiling and the lamps are just gorgeous ! Dark blue sofas matching the woody tables which give this place an interesting detail !
Overall, this is the kind of place you’ll bring your friends out, or maybe just your laptop to spend a couple hours just vibing and working at the same time.
P.S : Fruits are fresh.
This was amazing, we loved the desert. The prices are so good for the amazing quality (and dare I say quantity as well) and the atmosphere is incredible. Our waiter was amazing too, such a sweetheart, made my day!
I don’t usually write reviews but I had to this time. Mimi never fails to deliver the best quality but this time round I asked for a special request and as a customer I was pleasantly surprised by what was delivered (see photo). Not only did they add extra chocolate on the waffle they also gave more on the side. I couldn’t leave feedback on Uber but I wanted to thank the staff member who did this. Made my day! ☺️
I've been here three times already, and I have no complaints so far. Portions have a decent size, and I love the fact that I can come for coffee & dessert after work as many cafes close after 5! Nice songs, soft lighting, and comfy sofas create a relaxing atmosphere, perfect to chill with your friends or partner. It's been my go to for midweek after work catch-ups with friends.
Really enjoyed at Mimi's cafe with friends! The service was quick and efficient by Mohit. Special thanks to Moxada for making the drinks as requested.

Ah man I really didn't want to do this but I'm so disappointed. I'm a regular at Mimi's, one of my favourite places. I was really excited to return after the refurbishment but with the increase of visual luxury came a decrease of value for money and service. My usual Mimi's Classic crepe order was smaller, very stingy on the chocolate and strawberries and was hard. My partner received his delayed crepe fettuccine COLD and the waiters didn't even recognise the order initially. I appreciate it's a 'new menu' but it caused such a fuss to then receive it cold? We got compensation in the form of free cheesecake. It's a big shame to feel a decline of my favourite dessert lounge since I knew how great it was before this new refurb and management. I also don't like the new policy of £10 minimum spend for groups of 3 and over. Losing quality customers for the quantity and it's sad.
This used to be our local “go-to” desert place. However since our first visit today with the new owners who have taken over, the level of customer service and the food quality has gone down hill!! My partner had the chocolate strawberry waffle which was ok, and presentation wasn’t too bad, however when they served 2 scoops of ice cream in a cup the presentation was non existence! It was quite literally just 2 scoops slapped into a cup with no care for presentation at the costs they charge too!!
Mimi’s you need to up your game, regardless of your “snazzy luxury feel furniture”, there is a-lot better competition out there who take far better pride in there presentation and look after their customers local and from a far!!
