Depending on your situation you have more chance seeing a Nurse and not a Doctor. Turned up last night as I needed to see somebody as I was constipated for 3 weeks :( after 3 hours I saw a Nurse not a doctor I wasn’t checked over just given a prescription for laxative, the Nurse looked as she didn’t have a clue what she was doing, typed out my situation on the computer and somehow it disappeared so she had to write it all out again any advice thy was given was read from the NHS web site on my situation. The system seems a bit of Micky mouse set up and it’s more about waiting and stressy people and stressy staff.
Had to take my dad in as GP let us down to diagnose a chest infection. We went up on Friday early evening, saw three staff members who were all professional and very kind in taking time to ask questions and understand what had happened. In and out in an hour and thirty minutes. We could not fault the service given on a busy night.
Doctors are amazing. One particular receptionist is awful. You know who! I came back as asked by the doctor for next day and no chance I would be seen without waiting 6 hours. No thank you! Would wait to see GP in future If I can!
After waiting for 3hours for my daughter to be seen, I was told by nurse that she could not see my daughter without urine sample. My daughter has been vomiting so she could not drink or eat as a result she could not produce any urine.
We had to leave without being seen by health professionals. Very distressful experience.
Absolutely fantastic service from an obviously busy and stressful centre. I was told it was a 4-5 hour wait (it was a Friday night) but I was triaged within an hour, and diagnosed/released before the 2 hour mark. The nurses were fantastic and a credit to the NHS.
Went here with serious amounts of pain in my hip , it was more painful siting down so had to stand for nearly the whole 4 plus hrs of waiting . Was not offered any pain relief during my whole visit . Do not go here if you need urgent care as care is not what they are good at.
I honestly have to thank everyone there went there on Saturday 6th April 2024 and saw the 4-5 hours waiting time and thought oh goodness I'm in it for the long run but can honestly say I was in and out within 1.5 hours so props to helped me and I'm all good now!!
I never write reviews but this time I thought I’ll share my (horrible) experience. Never in my life came across a “doctor” like this. I waited 4hours ( don’t mind that as I know they are busy) to be seen by “ doctor”MANPREET KOHLI. This miserable with no social skills person just started her shift. Long story short she did not listen to what I was saying, was just keep repeating go to your GP. No advice, no care I felt let down as I’ve never been treated like this.Useless. This person should not work with people especially as a doctor. No wonder people hate NHS services.
