Have been here several times in the last year. A combination of cafe and woodcraft shop. The cafe is small and the service friendly and hospitable. Today's salad and vegan sausage roll lunch was very fresh, tasty and good value. The coffee and cakes are always good too. We've bought a small handmade wooden shelf unit and like all the craft work on sale it's rustic and individual. Another plus is that in the heat of summer it's on the shady side of the street.
A lovely place to visit. Upon entering, I found myself in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food and coffee is delicious.
We had a coffee and cake, which were both delicious. The decor was beautiful too - lots of lovely pieces for sale. I'd have liked them to be priced better - ie not everything was priced. It's my new favourite place. I look forward to returning.
The team at Millbrook catered for an important event we had with sandwiches, salad, fruit, and cakes for 30+ people. All done for a really reasonable price but with great quality food. The sandwiches were amazing with the fillings being things like coronation chicken, tuna mayonnaise, egg mayonnaise etc but all with a little twist to make them special.
All provided in reusable and returnable trays which made serving easy and great feedback from all the attendees at how good the food was. Will certainly use again and great communication and engagement from the team to make sure everything was just right. Thank you all for taking the weight of catering off my hands so we could all focus on what we were there to do.
This café is a very warm and welcoming place. The owners are very accommodating and the cakes are delicious. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we had a wonderful time there.
Excellent cafe, lovely friendly staff, cakes and tray bakes are delicious. Pastries great value and tasty. Recommend a visit and browse the wooden items for sale too.
