I write to commend the experience I always receive when attending the dental surgery at Midland Road, in Bedford. Above all, I am very happy with the service provided and booking of an appointment at a convenient time. My dentist Dr Ampah is highly skilled, friendly and easy going, as expected from one’s dentist, but she always indicates that she is aware of the whole patient, and not just their mouth! I've been registered at this surgery for a number of years and have no reason to switch, such is the excellent treatment I always receive here.
One of the most pathetic place to go ever, the lady dentist treated me like animals. She was so much rude and no consideration, she hurt my whole mouth with an edge of Xray. She kept pushing me to be quick while my mouth was num, then she took out my filling so hardly and then she hurt my mouth and it was full of blood. Today I had appointment at 8:00. I got late 5 minutes because of bus she told me come back for next appointment while she left me in pain for 2 weeks with improper filling. In normal routine they accommodate patients even 30 minutes 45 minutes after the actual time of appointment. I am really disappointed and stressed.
Very friendly staff! Never had any issues. My crown still going strong after 15years, Shirley done a very good job. Hygienist took extra time and care to clean my teeth. Love the receptionist, she’s doing job of 3 people.
Our family have been at Midland Road Dental Surgery for over 40 years, receiving excellent care. Since Mr Willis has retired and the practice has been taken over the level of care has deteriorated.
Unfortunately my recent experience was extremely disappointing. Having been told the treatment I may need on my crowned tooth couldn't be accommodated, without a clear explanation, I had no choice but to go privately. Following my appointment at Adelaide House Dental Practice in Bedford, I was advised it was a completly different tooth that needed a root canal, which was clearly explained to me with an xray and pictures. I have been referred very promptly to have the treatment completed.
Disappointed completely.
Done some jobs to my teeth . Spend 1000£ after a month all the filling come out . Not proffesional .
Then I pay 50£ for a next appointment. It was after 5 month the appointment. I call in the morning on the day of appointment because got an emergency family. Have to be in hospital with my son . They just said to me if don’t come I lose the 50£ deposit. Not fair . Disappointed completely and never I’ll be there . You have to improve that things . I just said that as I want people avoid this dental center . Thank you
This dentist is great, was really efficient. Painless and put me right at ease. Treatment done with no fuss. Great staff.Highly recommended.
Awful dentists really gone downhill after the practice manager left Mr Willis. The receptionist is rude and abrupt that's if you can actually get through you can ring all day and leave messages but no one gets back to you. I was left with a hole in my tooth and no further treatment because I had to reschedule my last appointment due to illness, they have also left my children without any dental care and refused to call me back even after I left three messages. Indo understand they are stretched but to leave children left without dental care is just awful.
Shirley is an excellent dentist who has been able to fix problems where other dentists have failed. She has filled and capped my teeth for a number of years, always with excellent results and longevity. Highly recommended.
