Simply wonderful.
The owners care about great food, and it definitely shows. The experimental balance of seasonal, sweet, and savoury flavours is nearly unrivaled in Kendal. There's nothing on the menu that hasn't been thought about with great care. The menu is always exciting - go when it's Summer, come back when it's Autumn, and you'll see brand new dishes to try!
The staff are very friendly, and attentive to your needs. The eating area, as well as the toilet facilities are very clean.
Method is my new local favourite, and I'll always be coming back!

Outrageously good! If you’re going to have breakfast / brunch in Kendal you need to go to this place. Everything about this place is just magnificent. The chorizo eggs Benedict was simply one of the best breakfasts I can remember eating. The waffles were so delicious and made perfectly . And the homemade hash browns were stunning. The coffee, chai lattes and baked goods were also great and the icing on the cake. The staff are wonderful people, I cannot praise Method enough !
We were in Kendal for a flying visit to see my Granddaughter and her partner. We decided to go to Method for a bite to eat, we were not disappointed! The food was delicious ???? . We most certainly will be visiting again. We had the Potato buns ???? yummy. Helen
Really tasty food with lovely flavours - definitely not your typical café breakfast menu! Great to see some inventive and inspiring dishes, with plenty of vegetarian options too. Recommended!
Absolute ace vegan cauliflower burger! Will be back for that! Great quality food and coffee, friendly staff.
I only managed to get take out on a busy bank holiday Monday as the cafe was packed and no-one looked like they'd be moving soon. Coffee (Oat latte) was excellent though a lot smaller than a standard 12oz latte.
I also had a fruity flapjack - I forget the exact flavour - which was moist, really tasty and a good size. £6.40 which I thought was ok. Hope to get lunch and sit in next time.
To have somewhere in such a small town like kendal that serves such high quality food is a treat.
The time and dedication that they put into working out perfect flavours, textures and visual elements of our meals/bakes is obvious, as each plate/bake works. They look amazing, taste unreal and give a full culinary experience in each bite.
Having the waiting list and waiting to be seated format is a perfect way to ensure we are all given the right tables at the right time, allowing the staff to give us attention and anything we need as diners.
