Best Malay dish in town!! Friendly staff & generous boss, Pak Awie! Always so welcoming and warm. Food are over the top!! Thank you for always maintaining your standards. I look forward to have my meal there when I’m in London :) truly amazing!
Try the Kandar: seems to be their signature dish and well made. Reasonably priced, quality Malaysian and Indonesian food. Don't go for the ambience or decor though: portions are larger than at gourmet competitors in the area. Took a while to take our order (20mins) but food arrived soon so not a big issue.
Food was good. Service could have been better but came during peak period so some level delay was expected. However food came out fast; just drinks we had to remind the servers. Otherwise everything was good. Food was good
Excellent food and tastes very authentic like Malaysia . Very friendly owner and large place. Menu is extensive and has lots of dishes. Place is clean and well maintained. Very much recommended ????????????????????????????????
So yummy! Super authentic Malaysian food with friendly staff. Will definitely come again. We ordered the nasi kandar and ayam halia, tastes just like home!
The first Malaysian restaurant we went after three years in the UK. Loveeeee the roti canai and teh tarik! Staffs are friendly, portion nasi pun okay :) TQ Pak Awie
The eatery name is so Malay that it is a giveaway for a Malay food haven in London!
If you see and enter the main door, you will still not know the surprise you are in for... Enter the Dunia Makanan Melayu@the Malay Food Paradise.. although I did not have the opportunity to try all, I only have a limited-space human stomach la, I have to say that..
1. The tarik tarik was awesome esp on a cold gloomy London afternoon
2. The nasi goreng kampung was awesome.. generous serving, fresh prawns and squid in it.. and the crispy ikan bilis@anchovies
- hot enuff that u can skip the sambal belacan
3. The chicken tom yum soup.. very Malaysian!! Slurp it down while its steaming hot..
4. The keropok lekor.. I got to say it taste like the ones u find along Ganu coastal roads.. soft, hot and the fish taste tickle ur taste buds..
I had the opportunity to meet and chat with the owner@kitchen maestro Pak Awie.. a pleasant humble man with a kind-heart.. he makes me want to stay in London and have him as my neighbour ????
