Polite and efficient service. Love the new lids to the sauce/sides pots. Crispy, tasty batter, large portion for a great price. Especially for Oxford. Stayed warm too!
Outstanding fish and chips!
The Cod was perfectly cooked – sweet, moist, chunky – in a tasty, crisp batter, and the (small) portion size for both it and the chips, was huge!

Hidden gem in Marston, satisfying cheeseburger and nice fish and chips. Easy to park and less crowded. Few tables available to dine in. Most importantly, it s halal.
£10.30….Large Fish and Chips , looked more like a (small). Chips were raw and uncooked amongst the hard dried chips. Very disappointed that Posh Fish was closed at the time I had to visit this place. In future it’s better to wait then be given scraps and uncooked food.
Do not go any where near the cest pit man the man was a arrogant pig so rude doesn’t even talk just nods can’t sit down and eat because you might use a bit to much mayo and he has to wash up your plates alright it’s a supposedly a restaurant , ordered a battered sausage it’s no bigger than my hand , chips undercooked just pure rotten.
Always a great meal. We normally have fish and chips once a week. What's nice is we can sit in and get table service. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The portion sizes are fairly good, and we always come away happy.
It's a big portion but you pay the price for it everything seems deep fried. 19.50 for two with a coffee and soft drink seems very steep London prices are cheaper. Very nice service no so nice breakfast. Coffee given as latte standard unless specified which I also found strange
Really a good choice to grab some fish and chips. Food is tasty and freshly prepared.
