Going on holiday, rushing for a connection I realised I had no medication with me. Popped in to see if they could help me. Pharmacist wouldn't speak to me, she had no idea what medication I required and simply told the lady at the counter she couldn't help without trying to ascertain the issue or the medication that I required. Two chemists in England spoke to me asked me what medication I required, how many I needed and went above and beyond to get me an emergency prescription...very poor show from this pharmacist.
(Updated) A chemist with the working capabilities of a chocolate teapot at times. Depends who you get on any given day. Some staff are actually good but for the most part weve had bad attitudes (and i mean stinking) & long uncomfortable waits on medication we need. At times its like they can help but just refuse. Never came across another business that treats their custom so badly. The 2 who do the deliveries are fantastic. Cant fault them. Wouldnt use this chemist if we didnt have to but weve always lived in the east end. Tip for you troops, dont work with medicine if you have 0 compassion.(which some of you honestly don't even know the meaning of lol.)
This chemist should be avoided! They do not care about their customers/clients/patients!!!
They lack common sense, manners. Their unwilling to tell you when they have a problem with their stock. Left my baby with no medicated milk they had the prescription for 6 days. Didn't bother to tell me they didn't have any and then told me to contact other chemist to get the milk. This milk is hard to get, you have to order it in through the chemist. Baby milk is vital and they didn't care. Their attitude stinks. Also waited two weeks for my inhaler and still don't have it
Worst chemist in Inverclyde , attitude of the staff stinks - Junkies and the crackheads get treated better!!!
Been using this pharmacy for almost 20 years and have now moved away from the area. I am now actively looking for a new one. The attitude from...(let's call her Stephanie) was cheeky, verging on abusive, because I phoned to ask why one of my medications was missing.
I suffer with a mental health condition and I know when something is not being dealt with. This is a family business featuring strongly in the community. Some people don't have a choice and have to use them. I will use them til I find somewhere else. The last two generations were good with the public. The young lady who has taken over is so nice, however she should rethink who answers customer calls.
Horrendously incompetent. Twice I've arranged for them to pick up a prescription and twice they've managed to mess it up.
Not only does the simplest of tasks seem impossible for them to complete but whoever answers their phone needs to find some manners (maybe they are in the same place that my f'in prescriptions are)
Avoid at all cost.
My daughter called NHS 24 as she has what we thought was tonsillitis. NHS advised her to see her local pharmacy for advice. They took a look and said yes it's red and swollen. Take pain killers go home if worse call the doctor. I called the pharmacist as quite clearly it was tonsillitis and she needed to see a doctor. This is what the pharmacist said to me when I asked why she was not more helpful to a young distressed and in pain girl. The pharmacist also said she doesn't know why NHS are sending people to a pharmacy. I expect that it is to give advice. medication and if they think it's more serious refer the individual to a doctor. In our case today we were disappointed in the advise to go home take paracetamol. The advice was not in the least helpful. She is just out if the doctors with a 10 day course of antibiotic and strong painkillers for her nasty throat infection. I don't expect the pharmacist to be a doctor but helpful advise would be good. I am glad my daughter did not follow the advice.
There attitudes are stinking in this place & u ask them to pick up persctiptions next day & there never ready till after 4, only chemist in the whole of greenock that cant give ur perscripton out within 15 mins!! Half the time they tell u they havent been picked up only to phone the doctors & they did! Another long day of waiting in on them moving there arses on painkillers my husbad has relyed on the last 5 years, place is a joke.
