The serving system is awful in here. Waited over 20 minutes for 1 cod & chips which was cooked & sitting in the cabinet ready, the lady next to me waited the same for a sausage & chips. Lots of unhappy people in the queue with me. What happened to fast food? If you are going to make everyone wait you should tell them there is a wait. I understand if you are waiting for something to be cooked fresh but there is no excuse to make people wait that long when it's ready & you have 4 staff working! They refuse to serve you out of line so you have to wait ages because 2 customer's in front need something cooked...every other chip shop I've been to serves you immediately if the food is ready. When the gentleman behind me brought this to the owners attention he became aggressive & started throwing sausages angrily in the cabinet. Not very professional. Also overpriced for the portion you get. Will NOT be returning, could of cooked it quicker myself.
just bought 2 large cod one large chips my sons cod was definitely old it stank and was very strong the seagulls got it cost £23 and one fish couldnt be eaten, not been here for years used to be lovely but nomore :(

Great fish and chips shop, the small Cod was just the right size, neither too big or small, the batter was lite and crispy with no fat. Chips were good size and not over cooked with nice fluffy centre. First time in quite a while, and will definitely be going back.

Had first fish and chips since lock down. The service was good, food was just what I needed. I also didn't have exact change and they accommodated it... Really nice touch. Recommended chip shop!
