Great community run pub. Good selection on tap and very friendly bar staff. There is a lovely little beer garden out the back too.
I didn't eat here, I went with a group from CAMRA. They were really nice and cheerful. Very clean pub and tables to sit outside on a nice day. Service very good.
One of the great country pubs still remaining. Run my the locals for the locals and visitors alike. A growing concern well worth a visit ????
Cute and cosy.. we where here just last night and the atmosphere was fabulous. Everyone was so friendly, kind and welcoming. Drinks where a great price, a great range too. Lovely little beer garden children and dog friendly which is great. This is a community run pub and what a great community it is. So if you live near by or just passing through the quaint little village of great Oakley, make sure you stop off at the maybush Inn.

Great example or a community run pub. Excellent knowledgeable volunteer staff, welcoming regulars/locals and tasty ales too. Will definitely be making the walk from Wrabness to Great Oakley again.

This is a community hub pub. The community bought it after it closed apparently. Its a proper pub. I think it is camra rated?
It had good range of real ale and cider. Range of optics and mixers. Don't ask for a cocktail... could have had some local gin and spirits that seem to be a growing in popularity. Micro distillers
Had a nice fire going. Barman was welcoming. It was a good place to stop off after our walk.
