Tremendous old school pub. Wood panelling, bar mirrors and traditional taps. Maureen was lovely and welcoming and we felt very at home. Kind locals, good prices and a coal fire. Cash only, but there’s several free cashpoints nearby.
Cozy little pub. very cheap to the area. The surrounding were beautiful. It's like stepping back in time with an exposed fire place. The lady is very nice . Right now it's clean and tidy and has a great selection of drinks.
Cosy wee pub. Great to get to know the locals and where else to go in the area. Cash only, not too expensive, nice and old school!

Maureen is an Anstruther institution. Vital no thrills service to the community, Maureen was friendly, witty & sharp ! The fire was always well tended & drinks reasonable priced! Thank you for making us feel so welcome , we had a lovely afternoon ! Michael & Siobhan
Very nice lady to start with took us 13 hours to deep clean the pub for her as it has been shut for 3 years it was very bad. She was happy enough when explained about price at hourly rate then she paid by cheque unknown to myself my business account doesn't expect cheque's so had to go back and ask to put it into my own name which then she refused to pay the full amount that she put on the first cheque then turned around and said she was only paying half told us all we did was go about with a hoover the place was so disgusting she was very rude and nasty. Avoid this place at all costs
What a fantastic wee pub. Maureen the owner is a real character, warm and friendly, superb range of drinks, big open fire and happy chatty locals. Looked through the window and knew I had to go in, and so glad i did. Really enjoyed the hour I spent there. Too few pubs like this these days. No matter where you're from, if in anstruther, call in for a pint.
Maureen is very hospital, don't stand in front of the fire.You will get to know other people.
