Phone system does not work properly. Supposed to select option 1 to speak to Reception but most of the time it does not register I've selected anything. I resort to visiting the practice in-person to make an appointment. It's now Jan 2024 and I have advised them of the phone issue about a year ago but no change! Not helpful.
Absolutely terrible service no help at all plus they put the phone down on a patient that is in pain.
Reception / nurse staff refused to take a sample because it wasn't in their container even though the doctor had told me that was fine, and which the NHS website also confirms. They were very rude and told me if I insisted it was sent it would only waste time come back as contaminated. I did insist and guess what, it was fine. They also told me 3 to 4 days for the result when the doctor had told me 1 and didn't bother to call me to let me know the result when it did come back in 1 day.
Excellent service and care. Being needle phobic, blood tests are not my favourite task. Kristy the nurse who took my bloods was absolutely brilliant. Appointment was at 9-30 and at 9-30 was sitting in room having blood test done . Cannot fault Martha’s Medical Centre.
Absolutely rubbish service this practice is getting worse each year. After my blood test results are in, it's at least a 3 week wait for an appointment to discuss the results and the discovery of diabetes
I emailed the surgery to book the annual flu jab, i was booked in for Saturday, via a telephone call from them, the Friday i got a phone call from the surgery, the receptionist did not want to speak to me and ask to speak to my wife, after my wife finished speaking, i took the phone to speak to the receptionist who said she will have to cancel do the government guid lines as it was not December, it was for the 28th. Not happy with the incompetence staff and with been told they dont kno when they will get the flu vaccine.
Coastal Villages has cancelled my grandfather’s prostrate cancer injection for the third time, either Hemsby or Martham.
His Covid jab has been cancelled twice and I sometimes wonder if they do it in the hope less people will come back to them, with no consideration how it affects their patients.
Receptionist was very polite and helpful.
