It's a zero from me very rude abrupt and always cancelling appointments. Not sure if it normal procedure for a dentist to try pull your front teeth back and forth hard with his fingers to see if they are wobbley when they are not .had a loose back tooth at that time .what would be the trauma on your roots if he did this .would it cause problems . I have now just makes me wonder if this is normal procedure for a dentist or not .
Don't normally do this but having seen the reviews I was worried about my emergency appointment that I had yesterday. Straight away felt at ease as the ladies were lovely on reception. Went in to see the dentist who prescribed me antibiotics and now out of pain. Feeling loads better. Booked in for extraction as well once infection has gone. Worth the journey and would travel every time if he had room to take me on as his patient. ????
Appalling, was registered with them, my dentist left to go back to Poland, and I have not been able to get an appointment since. Called many times and did not get a call back - then found out i was no longer registered there due to the dentist no longer working there, they should have informed all patients of this information. Would not recommend them at all, avoid at all costs. Must give one star in order to be able to post unfortunately, I would have given no stars.
Went to make an appointment with really bad toothache, had to wait for a callback, I rang back 3 days later and got told the dentist hadn't looked at my case, waited for a callback again, eventually got an appointment 2 days later, got a call 1 hour before the appointment saying it was cancelled due to the dentist getting some bad news.
Luckily the toothache went away on its own, eventually came back with a vengeance, tried to get another appointment, once again had to chase the practice up because of no communication on their part. When I did get a call back, I get told the dentist is refusing to see me because I'm not his patient and won't refer me to another dental practice.
These at this practice need to be struck off.
Update, now I've been informed that I've been removed from the books at the practice for complaining about the lack of duty of care from the dentist. Absolutely disgusting.
Awful, my two young daughters were registered here, we had one appointment with them for a check up, I rang up to make another appointment for routine check ups to be told they only had one dentist and no availability at all, they said someone would get in touch when they had free appointments. Didn't hear back from them, have just rang to make an appointment as my daughter has an issue that needs looking at to be told they are no longer registered there and tough basically even after explaining that it wasn't my fault that they hadn't been able to get an appointment for so long.
Absolute joke. As a family of 5 we were registered here for approx 5 years, my daughter was last seen by her regular dentist in 2019, in 2020 due to covid the only appointments were emergency ones (to be expected) then our reg dentist left, I rang the practise every 6 months to make sure we was still registered as no replacement dentist could be found, I was told every time that yes, we were still registered there and when a new dentist was found we would receive a call, my daughter had toothache in April, rang for an appointment to be told he refused to see her, she hadn’t been in since 2019 (not our fault) and he had never worked on her so point blank refused. Rang 111 for an emergency appointment but because we was registered at a practise was told we should go back to our dental practise. Once again he refused. We ended up getting an emergency appointment in Thirsk. When I rang to complain I was then told that we was no longer registered but we was “on the system” for when (if) they got a new dentist. We are now happily at a practise in Knottingley. I only gave 1 star for the poor receptionist that I spoke to who was highly sympathetic and felt bad she couldn’t do more.
A quick update. If i could give zero then I would. Dentist has seen both my boys for their appointments in the past, never a different dentist but now I'm told that they were registered to another dentist at the practice who has left. So my children now have no dentist!!
Whilst at my last appointment I had a panic attack and the dentist told me that he thought he should refuse to see me, obviously making my anxiety go through the roof. I ended up leaving in tears through a waiting room full of people. This dentist does not care about anyone.
Twice in less than a year my appointments have been cancelled with 30-40 mins notice! Can you imagine if we as patients did that?
Now looking for a new dentist as these can not deliver, don't care and don't currently have a practice manager so no-one to complain to either.
Don't choose this dentist.
If I could give you zero stars I would! A family member of mine came in today for an emergency appointment to be discriminated against and laughed at! You have a Duty of care for your clients and you obviously lack in it. I have never been so disgusted as I am today.
By reading the other reviews it appears to be a regular thing! I think you need to educated yourself on mental illnesses and how they affect someone before discriminating them infront of others. You should be ashamed of yourself!
I would avoid this practice if you actually want to be seen and want to be treated with respect.
