The best fish and chips comes from Marino’s. They have a huge range of take away fried foods. The owner is a good chef who has a strong understanding of all the different types of foods in the world and how to cook them. He brings this knowledge to bear on the humble fish and chip dinner. Excellent!
I travel for 20 minutes to get Marinos fish and chips because it is the best by a long shot. Boxed is the best to keep the crunch. Friendly staff, my kids were given a free lollipop while we waited. Recommend to all.

Very uninterested young girl taking orders. She clearly doesn’t want to be there. Got my order wrong and I had to pay to difference despite it not being my mistake. Fish and chips is very oily, and the fish is mushy and not flakey. Go to Jupps. Much better.
Tried here for first time. For me personally,chips were over cooked ,fish (cod) was over cooked and dry around the edge. We ordered battered sausage also,which was really nice and curry sauce is curry sauce staff were very polite and place looked very clean. Won't go back.
Excellent fish and chip shop but please be aware they are now CLOSED on a Sunday.
Sorry but my review has to go down to very poor, we order onion rings and they did not put them in the bag and we paid for them. And my mums cod was as dry as a very old flipper.
