The experience at Maria’s Fish Bar on Saturday was delightful, thanks to the lovely and friendly staff member who took my order. Their efficiency and helpfulness stood out, making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. This being my second visit, I was pleased to find that the food was freshly made, adding to the overall satisfaction of the meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my take out experience and can confidently say that I'll be returning in the future.
My partner phoned in an order which included 3 meals that we'd collect.
When we got home several things were missing.. and a pie that was part of the order was dreadful.
These take-aways aren't a cheap meal nowadays so we thought we'd give them a call. Not for a free meal, not for a refund, simply thought they'd want to know.
The response was not what we'd hoped for. Basically, "you got what you ordered and we don't make the pies". No apology, our fault.
I was stood next to my partner when she called, we definitely did not get what we wanted.
Suffice to say, won't be using them again and we've used them a lot in the past.
Their chips are fine, the rest..
Amazing so glad to come across this little jem the food is all cooked to order gets busy but worth the wait Gurt Lush phone orders and deliver also they have tables outside :)
I'd heard some people mention good things about Maria's in my local pub. Tonight I managed finally to check the place out.
It was wonderful: great, friendly, charming and welcoming service, beautiful, well-prepared food, including the temptation for next time of home-made tzatziki, taramasalata and traditional Greek puddings for sale. They also have charcoal grills for cooking souvlaki.
This was a kebab to cherish: fresh ingredients, proper meat and served as I asked for it, and as a bonus served in just paper, so no unnecessary plastic or other waste.
I'll be back, for sure, even if it is a few minutes drive away from my home.
First time here, it won't be my last, mixed meats souvlaki, chicken souvlaki, and chips, excellent all round, baklava also amazing, Maria's has a really good family feel about it, go on give them a go...

Worst chips ever dry and obviously been cooked and not sold and cooked again a few hours later absolutely inedible will not buy from there again

I had a delivery this evening of a chicken souvlaki and a Greek salad. I would highly recommend anyone to order from Maria's !! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the salad was so fresh and tasty. Certainly the best kebab I've had in Weston/ Worle and on a par to one's we have eaten in Greece. Thank you very much Maria's.
