Booked at this restaurant for Mother's day. Arrived at the allocated time and were seated immediately after ordering our drinks at the bar. From start to finish this was a memorable meal for all the right reasons. The dining room was spotlessly clean and the tables were beautifully set. The service was fabulous.. All of the staff were exceptionally attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was delicious.. It was a set menu but the choice was good. We had 3 courses and each course was presented with a smile. We were checked on regilarly throughout the meal to make sure we were all OK.. On a day when any establishment is under pressure but can still deliver quality food and service deserves a 5 star rating and Manor House this is what you have. Thank you and well done.
Absolutely incredible! The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough to make sure my partner and I felt welcome, comfortable and well attended to. The food was fantastic, the Italian chef really knows his stuff and food was cooked to perfection. And the place itself is beautiful, homey, cosy and try extravagant and romantic all at the same time. Stunning!
The Manor House is beautiful venue for any occasion. The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. The rooms are also very clean and spacious. Will definitely go back and will tell all friends and family what a great experience I've had x
Excellent food and attentive staff. Really enjoyed our drinks on the patio before going inside for Sunday lunch. Teas and coffees outside and a look round the gardens to complete a very pleasant afternoon. Lovely chat with the owner too. Will definitely be back.
We recently had a 70th birthday party at the Manor House I have nothing but praise for the owner and staff who worked very hard to make it an occasion to remember. The venue was amazing the food faultless and everything that was promised was delivered. We also stayed overnight the accommodation was perfect very clean and spacious and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. Thank you xx
the chalet room we booked was just what we needed. very clean and had underfloor heating. a proper little studio with a tv and seating area. breakfast was beautiful with the best coffee ever. pleasant owners who took the time to speak to us about our holiday to their homeland of Italy. couldnt fault our stay.
The food was awful had a soup for starter couldn't tell which all I tasted was like powder, the beef on main course was fatty but roasties I did enjoy. The lay out was quite strange but in all honesty spent most of my time outside if not in the bar chatting. For the cost of a wedding at the venue I wouldn't recommend!! The staff were very pleasant and very accommodating with my young children I had with me.
Really warm friendly family run hotel. Top service, food excellent, chalet rooms clean warm and spacious. Wifi, hairdryer, tea making facilities but for me it was the really nice friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them. I highly recommend this hotel and if I am in the area again this is where I will stay.
