Love Manor chippy best in town I think,delivery is usually quick & food is great every time......????
Not really the best time to review as all the staff looked under pressure for a Friday evening, we phoned our order in so hoping not to be stood around, they told us 30 mins which in turned out to be around an hour for a collection, unfortunately they hadn't even started our order and took way too long to make, so our Friday night treat was a tad deflated. The food was OK but nothing special as it was quickly thrown together. There was no kind of order outside the chippy, people waiting to order and people waiting for a collection, I think it would have been quicker if we waited to order when we got there. Hopefully I will be back when it settles down and I can review my review. The only thing which was worse than waiting longer than expected was, cash only! The serving staff were dealing with cash and then handling the food without even attempting hand cleaning, just glad I wasn't having pies last night.
Terrible takeaway. Duck was so dry and was sent wrong order. Also starter was soggy. When we called 1st time to complain got fobbed off! Don't waste your money!! No refund offered!
Ordered for 6 people on Halloween and it was the best prep-party meal! The curry sauce is especially good and the price is great. Fed 6 with leftovers for £30!
Worst Chinese takeaway ever. Beef and Pork akin to shoe leather and Chicken had a strange, soft texture. Absolutely awful meal never to be repeated.
It took over two hours for a simple order to arrive, worst still I was told twice that my food was out for delivery then that it was lost and lastly that the manager would bring it right over. A young man arrive shortly after was very abrupt not even offering an apology and delivered the wrong food! - Former customer
I order fish & chips for delivery. The food is always freshly cooked and the delivery service very good.
What an absolute shambles of a takeaway!! Everytime delivery orders were made they were delivered wrong or with items missed. We had a takeaway from them last night and yet again the order was totally wrong. I called them and they said a full refund would be given once a delivery driver was available. No moneys were sent last night and i had to call today again to chase it up. Ive just had one of the drivers come with part payment amd wanting to go through my bin to see the un eaten food!! Like i said an utter shambles so if you like your food to be nothing like what you ordered this is the place for you.
