Lovely walking around the Area but the canal needs sorting out, a lot of rubbish ???? cans bottles etc in the water. Looks very unsightly.
The place have been improved thanks to the Council and Whittlesey Street Pride. They put new tables and chairs in with CCTV operating. The play area has been upgraded. Makes a big difference.
I found this place when I first moved to whittlesey 3 years ago I go on many lovely walks here blowing away the cobwebs
Beautiful place, came across this place whilst driving around. Glad I found it. Good spot for a walk, fishing and magnet fishing. Will be going back soon.
Always try and moor up here. Good fish and chip shop nearby. The local lads tend to hang out near the moorings, but I've never had any trouble there. Pity the mooring isn't just a bit longer!
Very good place. They have Whittlesey Bash Festival at the Manner leisure centre
Third time I've stayed on the mooring here. Today was the first time there wasn't loud noise coming from the sports area until late into the evening and no groups of people drinking, shouting, etc (also until late) where the benches are. Otherwise quite a nice spot with good access to the town.
