Only had beer so can't comment on the food but one of my fave places to pop I'm for a beer I this area , my wife says they serve the best oat Latte on earth so there you go. Right on the platform so very handy . Still one of my fave bars in this area .
A beautiful station pub, catering to a range of high quality hot/cold drinks and treats. Great customer service - I personally had the hot chocolate and it was brilliant. The atmospheres is cozy and warm and is a great place to wait for your train.
What’s not to like here. There are few few station platform buffets left these days where you can also get a beer. The Manningtree offering has a good selection of beer and a couple of local ales on too (£4.50 for a pint of ale at time of writing).
Butties were advertised at £4 including a hot drink which seemed great value, although I didn’t indulge.
You can’t knock being able to finish a pint and step onto your train within seconds. The staff were friendly too and there are outside seats if it’s a nice day where you can watch the trains. Worth waiting until the next train just to stop by. Perfect to step onto the train when it arrives too!
Brilliant little station pub/coffee shop. The Guinness is as good as it gets in there, too. We didn't eat, but food looked fine. Perfect if you have a half our wait for the Harwich train.
This stop makes my day to London all the better.
You're always greeted with a friendly smile, serving hot coffee and quite frankly the best bacon rolls ever.
You'd be a fool not visit and take advantage of the coffee and roll deal.
Also they serve alcoholic beverages too but at 08:00 in the morning that's a bit early for me but not for all so take a look.
How lucky are we to have a cafe, bar and paper shop all in one place within Manningtree Station. Bacon sandwiches are fabulous
This is a little gem. I catch a train at 6.20. They are open and I can get a lovely reasonably price filter coffee that is so tasty x
Nothing special about the cafe but it is good to get refreshments if wanted while on a walk from Manningtree railway station to Manningtree village. To see where John Constable painted some of his landscapes is a treat. I fully enjoyed that walk.
