Came down from London for the day, needed some nice food and stumbled unto this cute cafe. Beautiful decor, i liked their beef taco the most! it's a must try. Love love me some cute indie small business like this one. Besos!! hope to visit again soon.

Amazing Lunch at Maiz today. We had the beef tacos, sweet potato tacos and the nachos. All really good especially the beef tacos. A great addition to our lovely town.

The perfect place to have lunch on a rainy Sunday. Cosy vibe, great decor and food was divine! also good for veggies - the celeriac taco in particular was delicious.

Really lovely cafe. The food was absolutely delicious, plus a great atmosphere! Really reasonably priced and fantastic staff. Absolutely loved the fish tacos and the nachos!!

Absolutely excellent Mexican cafe / restaurant in lovely Manningtree. I opted for the small plates while my friend had one of the main dishes, all superb. They have an alcohol licence now too, the frozen margaritas are gorgeous. Sadly no pics as we didn't have our phones with us - next time. Also didn't have room for pudding so again, next time!

Very expensive 10 pounds for one toscada. A very small serving. only one plate of pork available as ran out. No Mexican beer available as ran out.

Ordered two coffees no sugar or spoon offered had to go to counter to help my self. No cutlery offered again had to help my self of the counter. Atmosphere very small and pokey where conversations are overheard. Was so hungry after had to go to pub for crisps with a beer Partner had to go to burger van and me an ice cream van.

I really enjoyed the food, it's a step up from most Mexican places I have been to. You can tell there has been real thought put into the flavours combinations. It felt like a real dinning experience. Staff are very friendly.

Popped in here for some lunch and enjoyed some delicious tacos and my wife had tostadas.

I asked for my beef tacos to be dairy free which they did for me no problem.

Will definitely go back.
